Arts & Culture

The Arts and Culture Sub-committee works to:

  • Support local artists
  • Organize exhibits
  • Provide art for public events
  • Encourage art within the larger community and in education.

The group promotes arts and culture in our neighbourhood as outlined in the  Riley Park South Cambie CityPlan local Vision. It brings to the public’s attention the many contributions that artists make to this community. Examples of the sub-committee’s support include:

  • Main Day Street Festival,
  • the Main Drift Art Society
  •  art for the Car- Free Day Street Festivals
  • Riley Park-Little Mountain Neighbourhood House Festival.
