Gardening

The Seed to Sky Garden Club works to:

  • Promote the use of public spaces for gardens
  • Encourage local food production
  • Share gardening expertise
  • Promote environmentally sound gardening practices.

This committee  meets monthly from September through December and March through June..

  • Date:      Second Wednesday of each month
  • Location:  4370 Sophia at 28th Ave. in basement of Cityview Baptist Church
  • Time:  7:30 pm

The club is open to people with any level of interest or experience in gardening. Club activities include workshops, tours, speakers, sharing plants, a display at the PNE, potlucks, informing members about gardening related activities in the area and a successful plant sale on Mother’s Day weekend in conjunction with the Douglas Park Gardening Club.
